Waymark Holidays was established in 1973 by Noel Vincent, Peggy Hounslow and Humfrey Chamberlain. Over the course of the next 35 years they built up an outstanding reputation as a small but friendly organisation which took great care of thousands of people on walking and cross-country skiing holidays, mostly in Europe.
This fascinating story, told in a free PDF by former staff member Colin Saunders, shows how they did it and how, eventually, the company fell victim to its own success.
It sets out details of the company’s history, policies, personnel and programmes, as well as reminiscences from directors, staff, leaders and clients.

An occasional newsletter is published for former staff, leaders and customers of Waymark Holidays. Please contact me for details.
